Not only can I see him, I can hear him too! Thanks for the inspiration. Don't worry about the cake. I'm glad it kept you calm. Though of course I'll have to hold you to your promise for next year. Devil's Food, please. With a light sugary frosting. Perhaps some of those little stiff sugar flowers? Maybe in yellow?

Keats, hope you are doing ok. All the others gave you good advice. So glad you went to the doctor. Take care of yourself and don`t worry( if you can keep from it) cause the one above will help you and your folks through this. Plus all our prayers too.

I don't think that there was anything else that could have happened to Mingo. I think that you covered it. At least this time.

You were right about one thing. I was shaking my head through the entire story. It was fun to read, though I did feel bad for Mingo.

It would have made a great episode.

Keat, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I've not checked in lately so I'm sorry for my delayed wishes of a quick recovery. Accidents are scary, horrible things. And the accident is just the beginning of all the hassles with insurance companies, car repair, etc. I'm glad you've seen a doctor and are feeling a little better. "Meds" sound good too. Take care.

Cynthia, what if, for your birthday, we take you back in time to Ed Ames in Las Vegas, front row seats? He's got that white shirt with the frilly sleaves under his suit jacket. He comes out and does all of the songs you want to hear. (He gets hot and has to take the suit jacket off.)He smiles down at you in the front you. His voice is booming! Can you see it if you close your eyes?

Sorry I was late. I was on my way to Arizona with a big ole birthday cake I got you but a big ole SUV got in my way. The cake was still in tact though, so I am sorry I went ahead and ate it. And I was so stressed out, I'm afraid I ate the whole thing. But I will try to do much better next year!

I checked e-bay earlier today and there are two pictures of Ed Ames. One is of him singing with backup singers around him and the other of him by himself. Thought everyone would enjoy seeing them.

Okay, so this was Mingo's day to be an absolute klutz and trip all over his feet and knock stuff onto himself ... and I know for certain you modeled him after me ... I had a day like that a couple days ago! Soooooo, which of the MW did you use as the models for Arachne and Daphne??

It was a cute story. I felt sorry for the poor guy getting banged up every time he moved.
