I just finished the story. I loved it. I think that it was one of your best works. The fact the Edmund is slowly finding his true identity, despite Lord Dunsmore trying to form Edmund into the bitter man that he himself has become. I liked the fact that Lord Dunsmore conceded to the fact that Edmund did the right thing and was proud of him. I think that maybe it made Lord Dunsmore feel human again. Also that Edmund stood up for his principles and faced Reginald's wrath.

I 'really' did enjoy this one! It kept my attention and was 'very well' written! Thanks for posting it! Reply to this

Dear Ladies, Thank you all for your kind comments. I'm glad that you liked the story. I don't know about all of you, but my mind clearly "sees" Mingo at that age. I sure do wish I could draw. But, alas, I have little artistic talent. Maybe if we could get our hands on the equipment law enforcement uses to manipulate a person's appearance to fit a particular age we could create an image. Wouldn't that be fun? Reply to this

I didn't realize that you wrote "All Hallows Eve" Great story, I didn't sleep for two nights. That story would have made a GREAT episode. I can hardly wait until Halloween to read it again! Take Care, Judy Reply to this
"All Hallows Eve" was the fourth story I wrote for MW. That was, let's see, about 4 years ago I think. Time has really begun to fly for me. I'm glad that you liked it. There's a couple more I wrote that deal with the world of the unseen, besides the recent one I wrote for this Halloween. I'd be glad to send them to you, or you can find them in the archives.

Hi Cynthia, I found All Hallows Eve, on the Daniel Boone site (link from MW). I would love to read those other stories. If you could give me the titles I will look them up. If I can't find them then I will take you up on your offer of sending them to me.
They are all in the archives here. The two I referenced specifically are called Midsummer Mischief and Silver Moon Glen. The first is about Midsummer's Eve, the second for St. Patrick's Day. I hope you find them entertaining.
I believe that I have read all of the stories on MW before I started posting. I even found a few that aren't in the story section. You have to go back through all of the years to find them. One that stands out in my mind is the one with Sarah, Daniel's sister. I don't know who wrote that one, but it was very good. As a matter of fact that had a lot of elements in it that I had for ideas for one of my stories, even before I started reading. Ah does that make any sense to you? Maybe I should say my fantasies, that I am thinking of turning into stories. So alas I can't use them.
The story that you are referring to with Daniel's sister, Sarah, was written by Cindy who started Mingowomen.
If you remember where the stories are that are not in the story section let me know. If the stories are not posted correctly, they do not get into the story section but that can be fixed.

Hi Cynthia,
I know that Inhalee is in school right now but what about asking her to draw a picture of Mingo for this story in the summer? Just a thought.
Take Care,
