Could not resist sharing this off-topic picture and story. I work for an organization that helps states(Washington, Alaska, Oregon and Idaho) find parents for foster children-Northwest Adoption Exchange, a division of Northwest Resource Associates. Here is the President meeting one of the foster kids we are helping to find a home for with a member of Obama's staff. Tyler, a co-worker is pictured in the background. They all then toured Air Force one, were given souvenirs, and one of the kids had a birthday a few days back so they sung happy birthday to him ... << MORE >>

Today -August 16th, was the day of Fess Parker's birth. While he is no longer with us, we remember this day to honor someone who we miss very much. We continue to appreciate the gifts you gave us.
